Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking a System Integration Lab Engineer in Stratford, CT to support hands-on HWIL and closed-loop testing, design, integration, and verification within SILS. You will work with cross-functional teams to align lab activities with program objectives and Sikorsky engineering standards.

Responsibilities include hardware integration, documentation, equipment procurement, and continuous improvement of lab capabilities while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering support for hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and SILS environments.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet lab objectives.
• Ensure safety standards and design compliance in lab configurations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and testing HWIL and closed-loop configurations.
• Coordinate wiring, interfaces, power, and data connections across systems.
• Maintain issue logs and report lab status to leadership.
• Support procurement and maintenance of capital equipment and lab infrastructure.
• Develop and update lab documentation, schematics, and procedures.
