Job summary

RTX is seeking a missile flight simulation systems engineer in Tucson, AZ, onsite. You will join multidiscipline teams to design, develop, and integrate simulation components for flight software and hardware.

Candidates typically hold a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and have FPGA/VHDL/Verilog expertise. Willingness to travel up to 20% is required; security clearance readiness is anticipated. RTX offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design, or VHDL/Verilog development for FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• You will be a member of multidiscipline engineering teams performing design, development, and integration of missile flight simulation systems.
• Typical work involves the development of these engineering, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Your work will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of their assigned projects.
• You will be expected to act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of these complex systems.
