Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of programming and scripting in C, C++, Rust, Java, PHP, Python.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.
• 5+ years of hardware architecture experience and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify platform bottlenecks across CPUs, memory, storage, and GPUs; collaborate with software teams to re-architect services and improve performance.
• Develop benchmarks in C++/Rust/Python/Hack to capture fleet requirements and drive evaluation of platforms.
• Identify hardware/software co-design opportunities based on industry trends.
• Quantify value propositions and help drive roadmap definitions for Meta.
• Influence vendor hardware roadmaps to align with Meta's requirements.
• Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams to deliver hardware roadmaps into production and drive adoption.
