Job summary

Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled HVACR Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex hotel mechanical systems that support 24-hour operations. The role requires extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and BAS controls, with the ability to work independently and deliver reliable service.

You will join a collaborative Engineering team and contribute to guest satisfaction, safety, and energy efficiency while supporting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial HVACR systems used in large facilities such as hotels or resorts.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and digital controls preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical components.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVACR and refrigeration equipment in a hotel setting.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical failures with advanced diagnostics.
• Maintain and repair kitchen, laundry, and related equipment.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Document maintenance actions and update work orders and BAS controls.
