Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a skilled HVACR technician to support our Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut locations. This full-time on-site role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems to keep restaurants safe and comfortable for guests.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and read blueprints, collaborating with a team while following safety protocols. A S or D license and 3–5 years of field experience are required; competitive hourly pay and

Qualifications

• HVACR experience required.
• 3–5 years of active field experience.
• S or D license required.
• Must read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent communication with managers and team.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
• Install and connect electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete installation and repair projects
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
