Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a licensed HVAC technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems for its restaurants in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. The role requires 3-5 years of field experience and a valid S or D license, with on-site work and on-call availability for emergencies.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair HVACR equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safety and high-quality service while coordinating with restaurant staff and fellow technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
• Install and connect electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete installation and repair projects
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Experience in appliance repair or HVAC/R field is preferred
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Effective communication skills to interact with managers, supervisors, and team members

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour/ Or Salaried Options.
