Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC seeks an HVACR Technical Service Advisor to respond to technical inquiries and troubleshoot HVACR questions across IN, IL, WI, and IA. The TSA will travel to customer sites, work with dealers, and maintain records of field visits to support service operations.

The role requires strong HVACR knowledge, ability to size equipment, and effective communication. The position reports to the Director of Technical Services and offers full-time exempt employment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel to perform job duties.
• Proven background in HVACR with troubleshooting ability.
• Proficient knowledge of electricity and heating equipment (gas and oil).
• Knowledge of HVACR systems including air conditioning, heat pumps, duct systems, ventilation, refrigeration and hydronics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical questions from internal and external customers and troubleshoot.
• Make visits to job sites with dealers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of field visits and maintenance of technical literature.
• Continual education on new HVACR equipment and products.
