Job summary

Largest nationwide distributor and reclaimer of refrigerants in North America is seeking a Service Technician - HVAC/R to cover the Southwest/Central region with 85-100% travel from Arizona or Texas bases.

The role requires 2+ years of field service experience, EPA 608 certification, OSHA-10, HAZMAT or forklift certification, and a valid DOT readiness. You will diagnose, repair, and certify refrigerant recovery while mentoring junior techs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years field service experience in HVAC/R (a plus)
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required
• OSHA-10 safety training required; OSHA-30 a plus
• HAZMAT handling training or certification a plus; forklift cert required if not held

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC/R service and refrigerant recovery tasks across territory.
• Diagnose and repair chiller or refrigeration systems.
• Travel 85-100% including weekends.
• Mentor junior technicians on the job.
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving the site.
• Complete safety and compliance tasks prior to work (JSA).
