Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced HVACR Instructor to mentor and train the next generation of technicians. The role focuses on hands-on instruction, real-world diagnostics, and practical demonstrations to build student skills.

You will develop and refine curriculum with our education team, fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. A strong background in HVACR, five years of relevant experience, and teaching aptitude are valued as you guide students toward successful

Qualifications

• 5 years of practical work experience in refrigeration, commercial, residential, mini splits, boilers, etc. excludes teaching.
• EPA 608/Universal /OSHA 10-30 highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Training: Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real-world experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
