Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HVAC Mechanic (Union) to service light and heavy commercial equipment across North America. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace heating and cooling systems, and support commissioning and aftermarket service for improved facility performance.

The role requires 3+ years of HVAC troubleshooting, EPA refrigerants license, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 20% is expected to support branch activities and on-site service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with light commercial to heavy commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot HVACR equipment including rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and related components.
• Communicate problems, causes, and corrective actions clearly to customers and internal teams.
