Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to support light commercial and commercial systems across North America. You will perform maintenance, repair and system optimization on a range of HVAC equipment while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, EPA refrigerants certification, and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to travel and participate in training programs through our STA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years commercial and/or industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience, including rooftops, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and plumbing.
• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to customers to improve facility efficiency.
• Work with local market mechanics, servicemen and apprentices on projects.
• Ensure safety and high-quality service while meeting customer expectations.
