Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced HVACR Technician to join our Engineering team in a large, full-service hotel. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen and laundry equipment while coordinating with contractors and hotel leadership to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience maintaining commercial HVACR systems in large-scale facilities.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration, kitchen and laundry equipment, and central plant operations preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical failures using diagnostic techniques.
• Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems and controls.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Collaborate with engineering team, vendors, and leadership to ensure operations.
• Assist with general engineering duties and shift coverage.
