Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at our Houston hub. You will train and supervise associates, uphold receiving accuracy, and drive cost-effective, compliant processes across operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and attention to detail required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel/Word/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily receiving operations.
• Supervise and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business needs and customer priority.
• Review warehouse processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Update any changes to receiving processes and retrain warehouse personnel as needed.
• Coordinate product flow, facility layout, security, and maintenance activities.
• Oversee the partnership with LTL providers, including cost control, damage claim rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure inbound trucks are efficiently unloaded and that all products are properly received and put away in the correct locations.
• Manage staff scheduling and attendance based on the needs of the warehouse.
• Manage individual staff performance through ongoing feedback, support, and provision of resources.
• Promote a culture of high performance, customer service, and accountability.
• Communicate effectively through email to internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage and drive a team effectively to reduce cost and labor spend while maintaining best-in-class services.
