Job summary

Johnstone Supply in the United States is hiring a Material Handler I to support receiving, filling, and shipping activities in our HVACR distribution operations. You will operate forklifts, stack and move products, and ensure accurate paperwork and inventory control.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, and a forklift certification is preferred. You will engage with customers and teammates, follow safety procedures, and help maintain efficient warehouse workflows Monday through Friday with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year related experience or training.
Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry; OSHA and safety regulations experience.

Responsibilities

Operate power equipment (electric pallet, forklift) safely to locate and move products.
Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
Ensure shipments are accurate by inspecting freight, counting items, and completing paperwork.
Verify labels and stock numbers; resolve labeling discrepancies.
