Job summary

Garber Heating & Air Conditioning in Morton, IL and surrounding areas is seeking an HVAC Warehouse & Delivery Technician to support our service and installation teams across Central Illinois. You will help organize materials, deliver equipment to job sites, and assist technicians to keep crews supplied.

This role offers stable, year-round work with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive hourly pay range ($18.00–$26.00) plus benefits. Growth opportunities exist within a trusted local company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help in a hands-on setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC equipment, materials, and supplies to residential and commercial job sites.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials safely.
• Assist HVAC technicians with preparing for installations and service calls.
• Help remove old equipment and maintain job site organization.
• Stock warehouse shelves, trailers, and company vehicles.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Operate company vehicles including vans and delivery trucks safely.
• Complete basic paperwork and delivery documentation as needed.
• Support daily operations to help keep installation and service teams productive.

This position is responsible for helping organize materials, delivering equipment to job sites, assisting technicians, and making sure our crews have everything they need to complete jobs successfully.

Preferred Experience

• Previous HVAC, warehouse, delivery, construction, or material handling experience
• Experience loading/unloading equipment or working with trailers
• Forklift experience
• Basic computer and paperwork skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
