Job summary

Sid Harvey’s, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor, seeks a Warehouse Associate at our Long Island City location. You will assist customers, process orders, and ensure accurate, timely handling of goods while maintaining safety and organization across the warehouse.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, updating inventory, performing cycle counts, and assisting with year-end inventories. Strong attention to safety and reliability is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug test.
• Provide courteous customer service and accurate order processing.
• Maintain inventory knowledge and safe loading/unloading of goods.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely.
• Perform cycle counts and assist in year-end inventories.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders accurately by retrieving requested material.
• Load and unload trucks safely as needed.
• Check in and store material, verify quantities and quality.
• Keep aisles and work areas clean and organized.
• Report back orders or discrepancies to Branch Manager.
• Assist in safety inspections and forklift checks.
• Perform other duties as directed.
