Job summary

Sid Harvey’s, a Portland, ME HVAC wholesale distributor, seeks a full-time Warehouse Associate to support branch operations. The role involves assisting customers, processing orders promptly, and ensuring safe handling of products and equipment.

You will be expected to maintain accurate inventory, perform order picking, prepare shipments, and participate in material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment under the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with purchases.
• Accurately fill customer orders and retrieve requested material.
• Safely load and unload trucks and operate forklift if required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize warehouse for safe access.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner with customers and associates.
• Continuously update product knowledge and know location of merchandise.
• Accurately and safely fill orders and load/unload trucks.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to Branch Manager.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and warehouse appearance.
