YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is looking for a dedicated technician in Atlanta, Georgia, to conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems. Job description

What you will do

• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of systems under minimal supervision.
• Provide general servicing of building automation systems, including detailed troubleshooting of systems.
• Mentor control technicians, service technicians, and mechanical technicians on building automation activities.
• Complete required project and service documentation.
• Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

How you will do it

• Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions, with extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
• Test and write modifications in multiple programming languages of systems software.
• Consult with customers through data gathering and site assessments, providing field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements.
• Assist sales with technical recommendations for sales leads.
• Manage assigned work to meet professional execution of time and customer satisfaction.
• Report problems or changes to management immediately.
• Coordinate with branch manager, service manager, project manager or subcontractors on projects.
• Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
• Assist in job layouts and bid proposals.
• Install and modify software and graphics.
• Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems, keep them informed on service provided, and recommend system enhancements.
• Promote the sale of add‑on work.
• Adhere to all safety standards and provide safety leadership and instruction to technicians.
• Train customers in control system operation, deliver manuals and training documentation.
• Mentor certification of controls technicians and service technicians on complex building automation systems.
• Compile job documentation such as certificate of completion, customer training forms, certificates and punch lists.
• Conduct self‑study to improve technical proficiency and complete required certifications.

What we look for

• Dedicated member of a North America branch team willing to learn and be responsible for system trouble‑shooting, repair and aftermarket services.
• Minimum of six years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry (buildings, chiller plants and systems).
• Vocational school program graduate, associate’s degree, or two years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non‑technical people.
• Strong writing skills and understanding of software applications and programs.
• Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
• Certifications as required by the company.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly range: $29‑$40, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
