How You Will Do It

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians experienced with Residential and/or ducted products, air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, AHUs, or rooftop ducted units. We offer factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA), with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement opportunities. We also provide tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle, along with incentive programs and a strong focus on employee safety.

Your responsibilities include providing high-quality service to solve facility inefficiencies, offering solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service, and recommending improvements to ensure optimal facility operation. You will also prepare quotes to support your recommendations.

What We Look For

Required

• Be a dedicated team member willing to learn and responsible for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services in this growing business.
• Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.
• Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience with Residential and/or ducted HVAC products, chillers, AHUs, or rooftop units, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chiller components.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiency.
• Opportunity to enroll in training programs and JCI's STA for HVAC product knowledge and sales quoting.
• Ability to collaborate with other local mechanics.
• Excellent interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills to clearly convey problems, causes, and solutions.
• Ability to provide quotes and participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and apply skills on the job.
• Prioritize safety at all times.
• Possession of a Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licenses, and a valid driver's license.

Pay Range: $40.74 hourly, determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
