Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Test Technician II (HVAC - Engineering Laboratory) to support engineering lab operations by building, maintaining, and troubleshooting test equipment and setups used to evaluate performance. You will interpret drawings to assemble, modify, and validate test systems, ensuring accurate data collection for product development.

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, assemble, and modify test equipment from blueprints and drawings.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance and collect data.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on lab equipment.
• Maintain safe lab environment and proper setup/shutdown of systems.
• Use hand tools and shop equipment to support prototyping and testing.
