Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Test Technician for the Engineering Lab within the Unitary Products Group in Norman, OK. You will install and run tests on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, analyze results, and modify test units as needed.

The role reports to the Engineering Lab Manager and involves adapting test setups to simulate field conditions. The position requires a 2-year degree (or equivalent) and HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of HVAC experience preferred.
• Reading wiring diagrams and modifying unit wiring and controls.
• Able to analyze data to make informed decisions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up test facilities and connect data acquisition instruments according to test standards.
• Prepare and install test units to simulate field installation conditions.
• Analyze test data and modify test units based on results.
• Operate computer software to run tests, collect and analyze data.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
