Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Lab Quality and Regulatory Test Engineer to lead laboratory quality systems and regulatory compliance across Commercial HVAC laboratories. What's in it for you: The HVAC Lab Quality and Regulatory Test Engineer provides technical leadership for laboratory quality systems and regulatory compliance across Commercial HVAC Laboratories. This role is responsible for supporting the development, testing, certification, and release of HVAC products that meet UL and other applicable agency standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. In addition, the role ensures laboratory operations, test methods, documentation, and quality processes are aligned with ISO 17025 and established quality engineering principles. The position requires strong expertise in compliance engineering, laboratory quality systems, and continuous improvement, along with a working knowledge of emerging regulatory expectations and industry best practices. The successful candidate will be well connected within the external professional compliance community and recognized as a technical resource for quality and regulatory matters.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other engineering discipline and at least 2 years of Laboratory quality or product development work experience is required.
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $65,200.00 - $118,860.00
