Now hiring a Territory Manager / Outside Salesperson for the Albany, NY / Springfield, MA Area to support our York Factory Direct Stores in Albany NY and East Granby CT. York Factory Direct Stores span from Northern Virginia to New York City and are expanding into New England and Western New York. They offer the full lineup of York, Guardian, and Hitachi HVAC Products, including residential and commercial HVAC ducted and ductless systems, Source One Parts, supplies and components. The position is remote but requires regular travel within the Albany, NY / Springfield, MA Area territory. Responsibilities include representing York & Hitachi’s portfolios, selling HVAC equipment, parts and supplies to contractors, developing partnerships with existing customers, recruiting new customers, and receiving leadership coaching. The role offers a competitive salary plus uncapped commission, paid time off, comprehensive benefits, company car and fuel card, laptop and phone, and training opportunities. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, HVAC industry experience, minimum 3+ years outside sales experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com, travel within the market, and strong sales and customer service skills. The candidate will build relationships, promote products and programs, coach customers, prospect new customers, create marketing strategies, negotiate sales terms, ensure customer training participation, and meet sales goals.
