Job summary

Regent Medical Properties is seeking a licensed HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair HVACR systems across residential and commercial properties in New Jersey. This role requires the credentials necessary to bid on and perform HVAC contracting work in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will diagnose, bid, and perform installations, read blueprints, and maintain records, while ensuring safety and compliance with state codes.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey HVACR license qualifying the individual to bid on and perform HVAC contracting work in New Jersey.
• Proven experience servicing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Valid New Jersey driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Prepare and submit accurate bids and estimates for HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance jobs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify issues before costly repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with New Jersey state and local building, mechanical, and safety codes.
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property owners, tenants, and building managers regarding scope of work, timelines, and costs.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order.

• Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications (NATE, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training).
• Experience preparing competitive bids for commercial HVAC contracts.
• Familiarity with building automation or energy-management systems.
