Qualifications

• Requires technical or trade school certification in HVAC.
• Minimum of two years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installation, service, or maintenance preferred.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems including compressors, evaporators, condensers, coils, motors, controls, and thermostats.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control components of HVAC systems; perform preventive maintenance including filter changes and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals; calibrate thermostats, switches, relays, and control circuits.
• Recover, evacuate, and recharge refrigerants per EPA regulations.
• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal ductwork and copper refrigerant lines.
• Maintain accurate service records and log maintenance data; communicate with supervisors and other personnel.
