Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus four years of work experience in equipment repair, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical.
- Two years of vocational school may substitute for two years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
- Service and maintain boilers, chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, VAV boxes, pneumatic and DDC controls.
- Diagnose and repair electrical components related to HVAC systems, including motor controls and switchgear.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams; ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to support building comfort, efficiency, and system reliability.
