Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Light Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC systems for customers. The role requires 2–5 years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license.

You will work on forced‑air, steam, hot water, oil, high‑velocity, and ductless units, communicate with customers about comfort and safety, and contribute to team growth through mentoring and accurate service logs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC experience and strong industry knowledge.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including forced‑air, steam, hot water, oil, high‑velocity, and ductless units.
• Use specialized tools to solve airflow, fuel, refrigerant, and electrical challenges.
• Keep customers informed on how to improve comfort, efficiency, and safety.
• Help junior technicians grow their skills and confidence.
• Maintain accurate service logs and truck inventory.
