Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment across heating, cooling, and related systems in our facilities. You will follow prints or written instructions, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma, about one year of related experience, strong English communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year related experience.
• Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Training: On the job training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling and related systems.
• Interprets prints/drawings or instructions to perform tasks and estimates material needs.
• Completes PM and routine maintenance work orders on schedule.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and uses required PPE.
• Adjusts work schedule to accommodate patient and department needs; may work overtime.
• Supports department goals of high PM completion rates.
