What’s The Job?

  • Title: HVAC Technician - Lead
  • Location: Dayton, OH
  • *$3,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Salary: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What Will I Be Doing?

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Working in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to 'Safety First' standards, including PJHA process, Observation process, and all safety guidelines
  • Performing repairs and preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, with tasks ranging from supervised to independent completion
  • Working independently without supervision
  • Installing equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Following established standards for repairs and preventive maintenance, providing feedback on service discrepancies
  • Using hand/power tools, HVAC & refrigeration tools, rigging, and maintenance procedures
  • Working from elevated areas using fall protection equipment as necessary
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Achieving performance expectations and participating in employee development planning
  • Communicating effectively with team members to support company goals
  • Maintaining personal tools and meeting physical requirements of the job
  • Completing administrative tasks accurately and timely

What Makes Me Qualified?

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs
  • EPA Universal Technician Certification

Physical Demands:

  • Close-range observation, control precision, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, extended movement, climbing, operating tools and vehicles, wearing respirators, and effective communication

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations are available for employees with disabilities.
