Job summary

Friendship Village Tempe is hiring an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair our campus facilities, ensuring comfort and safety for residents and staff. You will troubleshoot chillers, boilers, refrigeration, air handlers, and associated equipment, while documenting maintenance and coordinating with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC/maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Certification strongly preferred; if not held, must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general building repairs.
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and complete repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs.
• Collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors to deliver quality service.
• Support plant operations and emergency systems with safety as a priority.
• On-call weekends/holidays and overtime may be required.
