Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed education in HVAC, mechanical engineering, facilities management, or related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in varied environments and follow safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; refrigerant license to be obtained during internship.
• OSHA 10-hour or safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist HVAC technicians during routine maintenance and inspections.
• Learn to read mechanical drawings, building plans, and equipment specs.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in systems.
• Assist in diagnosing HVAC issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Support energy efficiency monitoring and identify optimization opportunities.
• Attend technical training sessions and collaborate with facilities teams.
