Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed education in HVAC, mechanical engineering, facilities management, or related technical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist HVAC technicians during routine maintenance and inspections.
• Participate in preventative maintenance for HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, boilers, controls).
• Learn to read mechanical drawings and equipment specs.
• Assist in diagnosing HVAC issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in facility systems.
• Support energy efficiency efforts by monitoring system performance.
