Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an HVAC Instructor to lead hands-on training in our HVAC Technology program at our New Jersey campus. No prior teaching experience is required, as we help technicians transition into educators.

You will deliver accredited curriculum using a blended learning model, mentor students, and ensure safety and compliance throughout the course. Complete LIFT training and help prepare students for HVAC careers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC technician experience.
• EPA 608 certification required within first 3 months.
• OSHA 30 certification required within first 3 months.
• Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in technology.
• Teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on HVAC training in our fully equipped facility.
• Deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using Blended Learning Model.
• Support and mentor students to promote growth, professionalism, and accountability.
• Evaluate and communicate student progress fairly and consistently.
• Instruct on safety and compliance within HVAC operations.
• Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT).
• Prepare students for a successful career in HVAC Technology.
