Job summary

Facility Services Management, Inc. seeks a skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in Alaska.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety regulations are met. Responsibilities include installation of ductwork, controls, and equipment, troubleshooting electrical and refrigerant issues, and maintaining thorough service records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred); state/local HVAC licenses or certifications.
• Education: high school diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and work safely on ladders or roofs.
• Valid Driver’s License required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems per blueprints, specs, and safety rules.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential units.
• Explain issues, repairs, and maintenance options to property owners and managers.
• Complete accurate work orders and safety logs while adhering to local building codes.
