Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is seeking an HVAC technician to adjust, repair, troubleshoot and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections and ensuring air quality across on-site and off-site facilities.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or technical certificate with 3–5 years’ experience, reads schematics, is safety conscious and holds refrigerant recovery certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or technical certificate required, plus 3–5 years experience with commercial/industrial equipment.
• Able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must read/write English and communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Refrigerant recovery certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and maintains logs.
• Conducts walk-through inspections.
• Changes belts, filters, adjustments, dampers, checks gauges, coils and drain lines; troubleshoots issues.
• Assists with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours for repairs.
• Maintains air quality, temperature control and monitors off-site facilities.
• Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost.
• Maintains technical logs and data.
