Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an HVAC Technician I to perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain chillers, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDcs and CRAC units, while ensuring safety and clear communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include analyzing system data, complying with OSHA standards, and supporting the Facility Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a 2-year HVAC certificate or state license is required.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License is required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVACR systems per SOPs.
• Read and interpret operation sequences, schematics and manuals.
• Monitor and document equipment readings; maintain logs and reports.
• Assist with safety compliance and on-call emergencies as needed.
• Communicate with customers and team members to ensure service quality.
