Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) in New Jersey is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial HVAC systems. The role reports to the Facilities Manager and must comply with company policies, laws and regulatory guidelines.

Essential duties include completing repairs, inspecting HVAC units, maintaining records, reviewing work orders, and providing on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience with commercial HVAC units.
• Able to pass background check and be 21+ years old.
• Climbing, reading, standing, walking, and lifting 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance; complete repairs and keep records.
• Review work orders; estimate time and materials needed to complete repair.
• Perform daily inspections of HVAC units.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repair of rooftop units (RTUs).
