Job summary

Augusta University Facilities Operations is seeking an HVACR Technician to perform routine corrective repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of building HVACR equipment, under supervision. You will service air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, and controls, and assist with component replacement and emergency repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting work requests, communicating with supervisors and customers, and being available for on-call rotations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accredited organization or vocational training in HVACR with 1 year experience.
Valid drivers license to drive State vehicles

Responsibilities

Perform routine corrective repairs and preventative maintenance on HVACR equipment.
Inspect air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, boilers, pumps, and fans.
Assist in major component replacement and system repairs.
Assist in executing HVACR system repair projects and emergency repairs.
On-call status may be required and shift rotations may apply.
