Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a seasoned HVAC Technician-Assessor to install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial HVAC equipment including boilers and chillers in a deployed environment. Role requires USCENTCOM deployment readiness and a DoD Secret Clearance.

You will work with the HVAC Lead to complete projects, prepare reports, and ensure availability of parts while operating under extreme conditions and long hours. A U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five years journey-level HVAC experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• U.S. Passport preferred; Deployment readiness and USCENTCOM policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC systems and components to evaluate condition and recommend maintenance.
• Install HVAC equipment and monitor repairs on pumps, motors, air handlers, and piping.
• Coordinate with HVAC Lead/Trade Shop Supervisor on projects and work orders.
• Diagnose causes of problems and determine repair/replacement needs.
• Prepare written reports and maintain activity logs.
• Respond to emergencies during or after hours to resolve safety concerns.

Job description

As the HVAC Technician-Assessor, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, and light commercial units. This job requires theoretical knowledge of air conditioning and the production of chilled water, as well as practical mechanical and electrical understanding.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Coordinates and performs inspections on HVAC systems and components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenance.Perform installations of HVAC equipment and systems and monitors repairs on systems and/or components (e.g., pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.).Coordinates with HVAC Lead and/or Trade Shop Supervisor on completing projects and work orders efficiently.Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.Tracks performance of routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the availability of HVAC systems.Prepares written reports (work order status, activity logs, etc.) for documenting activities and/or conveying information.Requests equipment and supplies to maintain correct inventory amounts and ensure availability of items required to complete installations and/or repairs.Responds to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.Performs other duties as requested.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or GED.Must have at least five (5) years' journey-level HVAC experience.EPA Universal Certification requiredADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s LicensePossess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICYAble to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for QatarMust be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools common to trade.Ability to interpret and apply codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings is required.Must have knowledge of operation / installation of a variety of complete HVAC systems / equipment.TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLCwww.intrepidgs.comIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
