Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to assist seasoned Service Technicians with installing and repairing environmental control systems at customer sites. You will apply refrigeration theory and blueprints to support on-site work.

This four-year TAP program is nationally registered and includes paid instruction time and mentors. On day one you join a company offering robust career paths, access to the latest technology, and opportunities to advance to HVAC Service

Qualifications

• Technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist seasoned technicians in installing and repairing HVAC systems at customer locations.
• Identify issues, examine equipment, and assist in planning repairs on-site.
• Work with blueprints/engineering specs and safety procedures during installations.
• Maintain safety and accountability of equipment and company assets.
