Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to support installation and repair of environmental control systems. This four-year, nationally registered apprenticeship (TAP) provides hands-on training with mentors and progressive pay increases.

You will work with seasoned technicians and project managers, use blueprints and software, and gain exposure to the latest HVAC technology while earning a wage from day one.

Qualifications

• No Industry Experience Required.
• Technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience is not required but will be considered when determining proficiency level for the program and starting compensation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age when you start on day 1.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• A strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.

Responsibilities

• Service products, equipment and systems at customer sites; identify, diagnose, and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with field technician, PM and customers to define on-site installation requirements.
• Use software, tools, and blueprints to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety and protect company assets.
