Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking aspiring HVAC technicians for our four-year TAP apprenticeship program. You will assist seasoned Service Technicians with installation and repair of environmental control systems, gaining access to training and a clear career path in a leading manufacturing environment.

Paid instruction time and on‑the‑job training lead to a nationally recognized credential and potential promotion to HVAC Service Technician upon completion.

Qualifications

• No Industry Experience Required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• Strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.

Responsibilities

• Service products and systems at customer locations to identify, examine, diagnose, and plan for equipment repair.
• Collaborate with supervising field technician, project manager and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations.
• Use hand-tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety to the highest standards and accountability of company assets.
