Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to support installation and service at customer sites as part of a four-year, nationally registered TAP program. You will work alongside seasoned technicians, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to training on the latest HVAC technology.

You will learn refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and system diagnostics with paid instruction time and on-the-job training, advancing toward a HVAC Service Technician role.

Qualifications

• No Industry Experience Required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age when you start on day 1.
• A valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• Strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.

Responsibilities

• Service products, equipment, and systems at customer locations to diagnose and repair.
• Collaborate with field technician, project manager, and customers to understand on-site installation requirements.
• Use software, tools, and blueprints to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety and security of company assets.
