Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for HVAC Technicians and Installers located in Port Aransas, TX. Daily responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Team members will conduct inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and complete service documentation and work orders accurately. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about service needs, recommendations, and maintenance tips, as well as collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule. Technicians and installers are expected to follow safety standards, company procedures, and local codes while working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC technical skills, including installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and work orders, with solid mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of safety practices, relevant codes, and regulations related to HVAC work, with a commitment to safe job-site behavior.
• Effective customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain findings and recommendations in clear, professional language.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel to customer locations in the Port Aransas and South Texas area.
• Prior experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation and service; EPA certification and formal HVAC training or trade school are preferred.
