Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Technician to support a premier medical facility, maintaining HVAC systems to ensure patient comfort and safety. The role includes a 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation, with focus on reliability and precision in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and follow established procedures under supervision, enabling healthcare professionals to focus on patient

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
  • Follow procedures and guidelines with supervision.
  • Work within defined duties and processes to deliver outputs.
  • Be part of rotating on-call emergency response.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $33.65 per hour and the maximum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $37.50 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
