Job summary

CBRE in Cincinnati is seeking an entry-level Mobile Facilities Technician to support healthcare sites. You will travel between locations, assisting with daily upkeep of critical infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry, under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and apply innovative thinking to your work.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an analytical mindset, capable of solving mildly complex problems.
  • Sophisticated math skills for percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC RTUs and related systems.
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; diagnose equipment failures and determine repair/modification solutions.
  • Complete general facility maintenance tasks such as patching, painting, door repairs, and other minor repairs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and escort vendors and contractors; be on-site point of contact for safe, efficient work.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC systems with a primary focus on rooftop units (RTUs), while supporting associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repair or modification solutions.
  • Complete general facility maintenance tasks, including patching, painting, door repairs, and other minor building repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and escort vendors and contractors, serving as the on-site point of contact to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Support critical building infrastructure, including HVAC and generator systems serving IT and other mission-critical spaces, while assisting with change control processes and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and operational documentation while ensuring compliance with facility standards and safety requirements.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
