R.T. Moore in Plain City, OH is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and cooling systems for commercial and residential customers. You will diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical components and perform on-site service calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• NATE certification preferred but not required at this time.
• 4 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret reports and documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
• Test and fire off procedures of AC/Heat pumps, AHU’s, RTU’s, ERV’s, ventilation equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Final punch and quality check of mechanical rooms and equipment.
• Coordinate materials, parts and equipment through Project Managers.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, maintained and parts stocked; track parts daily.
• Submit accurate invoices and time sheets promptly.

Come join our team as an HVAC Technician!

The position of HVAC Technician is critical to Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
• Perform test & fire off procedures of AC/Heat pumps, AHU’s, RTU’s, ERV’s, ventilation equipment accurately & efficiently.
• Perform final punch and quality check of mechanical rooms AC/Heat pumps, AHU’s, RTU’s, ERV’s, ventilation equipment.
• Appropriately identify problematic calls and utilize HVAC Project Manager / Superintendent as needed for efficient time and cost management strategies.
• Communicate with the Project Manager / HVAC Project Manager at the beginning and end of every day / service call and any schedule changes throughout the day ensuring team productivity is being observed.
• Coordinate materials, parts and equipment needed through Project Managers.
• Understand and display compliance with R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best practices.
• Ensure the service vehicle provided will be clean and well maintained with the appropriate parts stocked and well organized ensuring that parts used will be tracked daily.
• Prompt submission of accurate and legible service invoices and time sheets.
• Will be available for OOT assignments as required.
