Job summary

Core Values Talent is seeking a reliable AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, be familiar with local building codes, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include servicing multiple HVAC configurations, reading blueprints, diagnosing faults, replacing components, handling refrigerants per EPA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA/EPA
• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in property maintenance and equipment repair.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with air conditioning units.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• 5 Years experience as an AC technician.
• Experience with all HVAC systems and brands; expert working with roof top units, ductless units, central air units, space savers, splits and package units, ductless units and installing thermostats.
• EPA certified.
• Diagnose and repair faults in AC units, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Recharge refrigerant and ensure proper handling and disposal per EPA regulations.
• Replace or repair parts such as compressors, motors, thermostats, fans, and ductwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document all work performed and communicate findings with supervisors or clients.
• Respond to emergency calls, especially during peak summer months.
