Onehourpittsburghpa is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC/R systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and design plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in installation and/or service technician roles involving HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration units.
• Familiarity with plumbing connections associated with HVAC installations.
• Experience working with air conditioning systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
• Prior field service experience in HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute installations.
• Troubleshoot system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct equipment repair and replacement tasks involving welding, mechanical repairs, or component upgrades.
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC installations.
• Perform service technician duties including system testing, calibration, and ensuring proper airflow and refrigerant levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate field service vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to various job sites.
• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
