Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Latham, NY operations team. This direct-hire role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and operating commercial HVAC systems across diverse facilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication and customer-service abilities. A valid driver's license is required and occasional overtime may be needed.

HVAC Technician – Direct Hire

Location: Latham, NY
Compensation: $70,000–$110,000 annually + Sales Incentive Eligibility
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Latham, NY operations team. This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and operating commercial HVAC systems across a variety of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and operate commercial HVAC systems.

• Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and required PPE guidelines.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing ladders and stairs, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working in various positions. Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. frequently, 51–100 lbs. occasionally, and 101+ lbs. on rare occasions.
